Maasai Stay
If you’d like to immerse yourself further in the culture, you can also extend your Maasai visit or Maasai celebration with a stay overnight. In the evening the goats will come home, there is food to cook, children to look after. After this evening you will retire to your own hut, where you’ll sleep in a traditional bed, made out of sticks and cowhide. It will definitely not be your most comfortable night, but it will be one to remember!

Maasai Celebration
If you want to experience more of the Maasai culture, book a Maasai celebration. You will arrive in the Maasai village at the end of the afternoon, when it is time to milk the goats. Maybe you can help the women a little bit? Get to know the family and their way of living in the middle of the savanna with their cattles. In the evening all people from surrounding villages gather around the bonfire in the boma. Share your stories with the Maasai men, women and children and help prepare the BBQ diner in a traditional Maasai way. Eating meat means there is something to celebrate, so you will end the evening with some traditional dancing and singing together with the new friends you just made.
